From when I was little I loved to bake and create.
I remember visiting my grandmother and climbing the shelves in the kitchen so I could reach for the flour and beg her to bake a cake with me.
This passion led me to where I am today.
I got my first job at a local bakery at 15, starting work as early as 2am to make bread, danishes and donuts.
From there I ventured to William Angliss and got my Diploma in Patisserie, becoming a qualified pastry chef.
After graduating I worked for 6 years in a cake shop creating thousands of birthday and wedding cakes.
With the help of all of my loyal customers and word of mouth, I have been able to make my dream a reality and work on Bittersweet Cakes full time.
I am proud of the work I produce and how far I've come, I can't wait to see the future of Bittersweet Cakes!
We were recognised as a top 3 wedding cake designer in Victoria by the 2019 ABIA wedding awards in our first year of working on Bittersweet Cakes full time.
